  Historic Law Office Renovation

The partners in this beautiful 100 year old building in the heart of historic downtown Annapolis, MD requested a complete interior renovation in the public spaces of their practice. We changed the outdated blue and cream color scheme to a deep rich burgundy, tan and white. The wall paper was removed and all walls and ceilings painted. The heavy dark drapes were redesigned with color complimentary fabrics imported from Belgium. The stairway hand rails, spindles, old wood doors, trim and crown molding received accent colors that brought them all back to life. The new burgundy and tan carpet with its contemporary old world pattern replaced the boring blue. The conference room chairs are reupholstered with a leather to match the walls beneath the chair rails. All the old brass tacks are reused for their old world look. The historical society came by to look and commented, “Stunning, elegant, you nailed it."

The 14’ articulating conference table & speaker’s lectern have integrated Power/Voice/Data systems and the 16 executive leather chairs feature custom embroidered logos. The wall panels and guest chairs are upholstered in the same fabric and the 6’ flag is dramatically unfurled and mounted in a custom-built shadow box frame.
